Sometimes the wounds we carry in life keep us stuck in painful patterns of shame and suffering. We lose sight of ourselves and our capacity for joy. I love supporting my clients in navigating the difficulties of the human experience, and find that therapy can often provide clarity, relief, and unlock new possibilities for a fuller life.

Therapy is not reserved solely for people in crisis. It is a mirror to see ourselves and our lives more clearly, allowing us to embody our truth and be our most authentic selves. Insight gained from personal exploration can lead to a more grounded sense of self and a greater capacity to move easefully through the seasons of life.

Our work together will help you settle into your truest self by paying special attention to what is hard to see. The deeper stuff. The stuff that sometimes metaphorically “drives the car.” Through this process you’ll come into a new kind of knowing - the knowing that comes from seeing the deepest parts of yourself. We will do that through a collaborative, curious, compassionate process that holds space for your story and hope for your healing.

Therapy isn’t about getting rid of the symptoms before you truly understand where the symptom is coming from, it’s about exploring the entire root system. We’ll sit together weekly, exploring areas of your life and history that may be causing you trouble in your present. We’ll bring awareness to parts of us that have previously been out of reach. Through this deeper understanding of self you will begin to cultivate desired changes and meaning in your life.
